Galaxy (#1) tie Fireballs (#2) 2-2

Big match-up between the top-ranked teams and both teams played in top form.

Fireballs hit the field in warrior paint, supported by a sideline full of orange and the "Fireball" anthem blaring behind them.

Dylan is unshakable.  He didn't even look to the sideline, just got up and back into the mix.  These boys were playing HARD!!!

The intensity of the game was lost on the littlest of fans.

The game was a battle.  Patrick (Fireballs) was the first to make it happen, about 10 minutes into the 1st half.  Shervin responded with a funky move that forced him to move the ball left when he was just in front of the goal.  It's not his normal shot, but he forced the shot with his left and made it happen under tough circumstances.

Drew scored the next goal to put the Fireballs up 2-1.  Galaxy tied it up when Kyle set Edan up with a pass that allowed him to score the 4th, and final goal, of the game.  Both teams fought hard and it was a really well-played game that culminated in a 2-2 tie.

The Galaxy maintain 1st in the standings, but the 2nd tie of the season for the Fireballs allowed the Red Vipers to move into 2nd place in the league.  There are 3 weeks left in the regular season.  Competition is getting better each week and a hard battle for the PQ Cup is anticipated just 4 weeks away.
